斑马线前文明礼让已经成为杭州的城市名片，有过这份文明出行体验的人们无不点赞称好。然而，在这份文明背后却还隐藏着无可回避的问题。

随着斑马线数量过密，车流一次次在斑马线前停下。交通干道汇集了大量车流，导致车辆通行连续性降低出现拥堵现象，文明礼让也就成为了道路通行的负担。

赵师傅在杭州开了8年出租车，他表示杭州道路交通拥堵情况日益严重，斑马线过多也是原因之一，“像天目山路、文晖路都有间距很短的斑马线，车辆通行很受到影响。”

对于斑马线设置的问题，交通专家、浙江工业大学教授吴伟强认为，目前情况下，杭州某些路段斑马线设置过密，虽然方便了行人，但是整个城市的交通体系也受到了不利影响。
